Sorry I haven't been posting. I've been busy and haven't had time. Anyways, I went to a birthday party yesterday for my friend. We saw the new Cinderella movie. It's my new favorite!!!! I decided to post a vintage birthday party photo to celebrate this occasion. In my opinion, anything is good if it's vintage!!! I love birthday parties!!! They look like they're having a good time!!! This photo is probably from the late 1950s.

I LOVE vintage nurse photographs. They are just so pretty!!!!!!!!!!! And classy. They are just so timeless!!!!! I looove them!!!! This vintage theater advertisement is for a play called "Human Hearts". This ad was from 1896. This ad is so beautiful!!!! The care put into it is something that has yet to be accomplished today. I found this info from http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com: BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, MAY 17, 1901 HUMAN HEARTS Grand Opening Of Stone City Opera House With An Idyl Of The Arkansas Hills. A splendid company of players will present this famous production exactly as presented for 300 nights at Fifth Ave., Theater New York, one night only; with special scenery for each act., Thursday May 16th. "Human Hearts" which comes to the Stone City Opera House May 16, is probably the most perfect staged play before the public. Each act has its own scenery, properties and accessories. The company selected by the management is way above the average seen with traveling organizations for high salaried people are required to portray the intricate action, pathos and comedy of the play. A glance over the cast of characters will convince those who are at all posted in dramatic matters that the weekly salary list must be exceedingly large for a traveling organization. The play itself is clean, clear and cleverly woven together. The dialogue is that bright every day language that you hear fall from the mouths of living people, and not the old fashioned rant. The fact that the play is in its fifth season warrants the statement that its simplicity, truthfulness and varied human interest pleases the masses. It never fails to hold an audience and all local managers as well as their patrons speak of "Human Hearts" as a production possessing great power to move and entertain. Those who have seen it always go again and take others with them. Indeed it would be remarkable if such a good play well staged, should not prove a drawing card when enacted by such sterling actors as Fred FAIRBANKS, who essays the part of Tom Logan, the village smithy. Mr. Sull GUARD, who appeared last season to such good advantage in Armsdale, the villain. Mr. Ed. McHUGH, will also be remembered for his good work as a Jem Mason in the Fifth Avenue production of "Human Hearts", in New York is again in the cast. Rose EMERSON in the beautiful character of Ruth, who caused them to smile through tears and Miss Eulalia BENNETT, who enacted the adventuress Jeanette so well that they fairly hated her for her fine acting. Tom Logan's blind mother, Samantha is in the hands of that cleaver actress Miss Josephine SUTHERLAND. The cunning little bootblack "Limpy Morgan" who gets tangled in the meshes of misfortune is the same Miss Myra KETCHEM, who caused such shouts of laugher last season in the same part. Little Baby ROYAL one of the cleverest child actresses in America is seen as Baby Logan. Three tots ranging in age from eleven months to four years of age help to perfect this beautiful heart play, and with their mother they will make the long tour with the company this season, playing in addition to the Eastern Cities the whole of the Pacific Slope Region. Seats on sale at ELLIOTT's drug store. I would love to see that!!! It sounds so interesting!!!!
